POCKETS OF JOY

We have a small grant to pass on to 12 trans and non binary folk who would like to organise a ‘Pocket of Joy.’ These are small scale events or experiences that could be one offs, repeated or durational and take place at some point on the 12 July in or around the museum. We would love people to have chance encounters, one to one performances and moments of surprise.

Drinks are on us!

We are looking for 12 small scale pieces of work on the theme ‘Pockets of Joy’ for the Trans Pride Fest event in and around the grounds of the Museum on the 12th July. These can be one off, repeated throughout the day or durational. They could be performance, experience or something else entirely. We want people to be thrilled, surprised and delighted.

Come and we'll buy you a drink and talk about your ideas at our social mixer at the rooftop bar of the Observer Building at 6pm on Friday 22nd May. 

The 12 chosen ‘Pockets of Joy’ will be paid £300 each.
