Serge & Libro from Hot Pencil Press will be bringing Letters To My Little Trans Self to town, join us for a writing workshop & readings in October.

Thursday November 20th sees our 3rd Trans Day of Rememberance vigil, this year at St Andrews Mews in Hastings. The following week we are teaming up with Home Live Art & Giddy Up to invite the Queer Cxntry folk to Yee Haw it up at The White Rock Theatre.

    To accompany the live event Letter to My Little Trans Self at Hastings Storytelling Festival (Tuesday 21 October), Hotpencil Press and Trans Pride Hastings are hosting a one-off writing workshop for trans and non-binary people.

    Led by Hotpencil Press founders Libro Levi Bridgeman and Serge Nicholson, the workshop takes inspiration from their latest anthology, Letter to My Little Trans Self, a book gathering letters from 30 trans and non-binary writers to their younger selves.

    This writing workshop invites you to do the same - to pause, reflect, and explore what you might wish to say to your younger self.

    Doors open at 5.30pm, workshop starts at 6pm

    Letter to My Little Trans Self is a powerful new book from hotpencil press, bringing together letters, poems and reflections from trans and non-binary voices across the UK.

    For one night only, writers will read their letters live on stage in Hastings before joining hotpencil and Cipher Press in conversation about the importance of publishing trans voices.

    Featuring readings from Bambi Jordan Philips, Kasra Jalilipour, Sarah Savage, Victoria Oldman and Zed Gregory. Plus recorded readings from Alexandra R De Ruiz and Juno Roche
